5 Random Facts About Me

Welcome to my blog! I'm starting from scratch so things might be a little awkward at first. I hope you don't mind. Before I jump into talking about pop culture, I thought I'd share a little bit about myself. Without further ado, here are five random facts about me.

Fact 1: I *almost* always watch TV with subtitles.

I'm not sure where this started. I've always been way too obsessed with TV and I remember hanging out in the basement and playing with the settings. I was amazed that you could read what the characters were saying. They are somehow comforting to always have on and sometimes some awesome gems pop up. *laughs in Spanish*

Fact 2: I used to write fan fiction.

It will become obvious fairly quickly that I'm a huge fangirl. I can't just like casually like something, I have to eat, sleep and breathe the thing. When I was younger I was so passionate about Harry Potter than I turned to fan fiction. I don't remember exactly what I wrote, but I do remember I was team Dramione. If I ever uncover it, I swear I'll share it.

Fact 3: I went on a trip to New York just to see Hamilton.

One of my most recent serious obsessions was Hamilton in the fall of 2015. I listened to the cast album as soon as it can out and I couldn't be stopped. I somehow convinced my sister to buy tickets as soon as more were released and 11 months later we were in New York. It was one of the most magical weeks of my life.

Fact 4: I'm terrible at directions.

If I didn't use Google Maps I would never get anywhere. I've even got lost in my own hometown and had to call someone to figure out where I was. It's embarrassing, but something I've just accepted about myself.

Fact 5: I've been journaling since I was 11.

I'm been jotting down random thoughts since I learned how to spell, which is both fortunate and unfortunate. I have journals dating all the back to when I was 11 and had just discovered this awesome new show, Scrubs. My journals are therapeutic and embarrassing, but most importantly, not to be shared so don't even ask.
